Nebuchadnezzar The common name for a 15 liter wine bottle.
Nero Italian for black.
Noble Rot See Botrytis
Non-Vintage A wine that is made without a majority of grapes coming from a single year. The required percentage for this majority varies in each country and appellation. California, for example, requires that wines carrying a vintage on the label must be made with at least 95% of the grapes coming from that year; wines with less than the 95% coming from that year must be labeled non-vintage.
Nose See Aroma
Nouveau French for new, this term is applied to wines meant to be drunk at a very early age.
